Chocolate Peppermint Brownies

1 box of your favorite brownie mix
1 box of chocolate peppermint candy (such as Andies)

Bake brownies according to package directions. As baked brownies cool, loosen with a knife around edges of the pan. When brownies are completely cooled, remove from pan by turning upside down on a rack.

In the top of a double boiler, over simmering water, melt 1 full box of peppermint candies. Remove from heat when chocolate is just about melted. Stirring to keep mixture smooth.

Pour melted chocolate over cooled brownies. Cut with a sharp knife in to squares and decorate with colored jimmies if desired (while chocolate is still loose.)
