Our Videos

We distribute Thyme In The Kitchen to many of the public cable access stations in Central Massachusetts and are always eager to share with other public groups like Libraries. If you have an interest in seeing a program, drop us a line at Lee@ThymeInTheKitchen.info. We would be delighted to help make the connection.

We have produced over 20 shows in the five years years we've been doing this. Many thanks go to Lee, Pam, Casey, and the extended team. Sylvia Gruner, too, deserves thanks for the efforts she put into this in the first few years of production. The show has been well received by many and our TIK Ladies always get stopped in public by thankful fans.

Right now, cable access stations get our programs via DVD and postal mail. This is expensive and time consuming and we hope a lower cost alternative becomes viable. So, we are experimenting with Internet-based distribution and this page contains our first effort. Unfortunately, to keep things manageable, our downloadable video is only available as an MPEG4 video. Most cable access stations require MPEG2, which is typically a higher bitrate and file size. Part of the current experiment may determine if we can bridge the gap using a smaller download - our MPEG4 file - and a format conversion on the receiving end.
